The Nicola Valley BC Rodeo Association welcomed competitors across British Columbia Canada to come and participate in the first Cutting Horse Show in Merritt BC. This three day event showcased the skills, equestrian athletics, while educating what Cutting Horse exactly is. The perfect event since the Nicola Valley BC ranching is rooted in our blood. Cutting is a worldwide equestrian sport that dates back to the early 1800’s. Cutting is a judged event where horse and rider must demonstrate their skills by separating a single cow from a herd and keep it from returning back to herd. Totally a great experience for all ages here in Merritt BC.
