Getting There
These amazing Nicola Valley Snowshoeing adventures are so close! The Kane Valley is located near British Columbia’s Coquihalla Highway network. Your Nicola Valley Snowshoeing adventures and the Kane Valley lie 20 minutes south of Merritt, B.C., an hour west of Kelowna and an hour north of Princeton. The best winter access to the snowshoeing areas is along the Kane Valley road which joins Highway 5A/97C near Corbett Lake, 18 kilometers south of Merritt.
The Trails
Kane Valley has over 50 km. of groomed trails, two of which are designated snowshoeing trails (approximately 13 km.) and many kilometres of pristine snow.
So make tracks and do some snowshoeing in Merritt! There are washrooms along the trails as well as picnic tables and shelters.
