Boreal Trails is a hiking destination located in the community of Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada.

The Boreal Trails consists of one main trail which loops around a large beaver pond. The highlight of the trails is the lookout point providing far reaching views over looking the surrounding wetlands and Log River.

The loop route measures around 6 kilometres long. The total time taken to walk the loop trail ranges from 35 to 75 minutes depending on your groups fitness levels and rest stops.

The main loop trail explores a boreal forest which consists of a combination of trees including ash, birch, poplar, black spruce and white spruce... with the dominant tree species in the park being the jack pine trees.

The Boreal Trails route may not be suitable for young children or seniors as there are some sections of the trail which involve steep climbs and some navigating over rocky terrain.

Some with experience will find the trail easy while others may find the trail challenging. All in all - the trail is very well signed with directional green markers.

The Boreal Trail provides some wildlife sightseeing opportunities. Wildlife viewing on the trail may include sightings of beaver, deer and various species of birds - both songbirds and waterfowl.
