Fawn Lake Trail in Lone Butte, South Cariboo-Chilcotin Region, British Columbia, Canada is a 26 kilometre one-way hike through a forest leading to the banks of Fawn Lake. The lake is one of the many lakes found in the Interlakes Highway region located east of the community of 100 Mile House.

The Fawn Lake Hiking Trail is a day hike along a level easy-grade route. There is no campsite on the lake, although there is a resort. For people wanting to access the lake for fishing, canoeing or boating there is a roof top boat launch at the other end of the lake at the end of Fann Creek Road. Electric motors permitted on the lake only.

The Interlakes Highway, also referred to as the "Fishing Highway", is a popular lake system for people who enjoy fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, atving, dirt biking, wind surfing, wildlife viewing and camping. While the Fawn Lake Trail is a popular adventure destination for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and cross country skiing.

The boat launch on Fawn Lake provides access to fishing the lake for Rainbow Trout. Some of the closer camping and fishing destinations include Green, Bridge, King and Faulkner Lakes.

Some of the other popular trails in the area include the Sheridan Lake, Crystal Lake, Lone Butte, Canim-Mahood Falls and Deception Falls Hiking Trails.

How To Get ToFawn Lake

From the community of 100 Mile House travel south on Hwy 97 towards 93 Mile House. Just prior to 93 Mile House turn onto the Fishing Highway (Hwy 24) and begin driving towards Lone Butte. Just after Lone Butte on your left is Fawn Creek Road. Turn here and continue to the trailhead which is just around a big corner and located on your right.
