Florencia Beach is one of the lesser known sandy beaches located in the Pacific Rim National Park. The beach is located near the Village of Tofino and Ucluelet, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Florencia Bay Beach Photo Gallery The sand and pebbled beach is situated in a small cove decorated by big rock outcroppings and piles of driftwood logs.

The low tides reveal massive rock outcroppings monuments . The very teapot-like pillars through shadows across the beach. And when the high tides return, especially in the storm seasons, the waves crash and bang the monuments sending mist into the air.

Lining the top of the beach are driftwood logs. Many thrown ashore during big storms. One will see that previous visitors to the beach have rearranged the logs into make-shift mini picnic sites. Some driftwood logs are chairs, others are benches and tables.

During the summer months Florencia Bay is popular for swimming, picnicking and beachcombing. Prior to the beach in the trees are some picnic tables.

All visitors to the Pacific Rim National Park must purchase a Park Use Permit.
