Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park is a sightseeing recreation park located east of the community of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. The park is a popular destination for birdwatching, hiking and picnicking.

The Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park measures about 93 hectares which includes portions of Cheam Creek and Cheam Lake. Surrounding the lake are large sections of wetland and marsh areas decorated with smaller groupings of trees.

Along the shores of the lake and the banks of the creek are a network of walking trails measuring 2 kilometres which explore the grounds of the Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park. A small loop trail also ventures out and explores a wetland area named Beaver Pond.

The walkway is mostly raised boardwalk, level and good for all fitness levels. Located along the walkway are sightseeing benches and a viewing tower ideal for birdwatching. The highlight of the park are the birding opportunities and the floating boardwalk which crosses a section of Cheam Lake.

There are over 184 bird species sighted in the Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park. Some of the bird sightings in the park include the red-eyed vireo, winter wren, golden-crowned kinglet, cedar waxwing, yellow warbler, american goldfinch, red-winged blackbird, black-headed grosbeak, dark-eyed junco, common yellowthroat, wood duck, ring-necked duck, lesser scaup, bufflehead, great blue heron and red-tailed hawk.

In the Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park is a day use picnic site with picnic tables, pit toilets, information signs, shelter, trail map, water tap and a parking lot.

The main entrance to Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park is located off of Elgey Road

From Chilliwack, BC follow Highway #1 east to the Highway #9 exit. Take the exit and travel north to Yale Road and take a right. Travel east on Yale Road to Popkum Road and take a left and continue north to Elgey Rd. Take a left onto Elgey Rd. and continue to the parking lot. The park is 21 kilometres from Chilliwack.
