Star Trek Station is a popular attraction and local information source for the community of Vulcan, Alberta, Canada in the Southern Alberta Foothills region of the Canadian Badlands.

Vulcan, Alberta, Canada photo galleryLocated on the main highway (Hwy #23) connecting to Vulcan, Alberta, Canada the Star Trek Station is an information centre for travelers which also doubles as a popular attraction featuring the Start Trek television series and Mr. Spock's home planet of Vulcan.

The Star Trek Station was built to look like and provide the feeling of being on the planet Vulcan. Some even say the Space Station arrived from the night sky landing permanently in the community of Vulcan.

Inside the Star Trek Space Station is a gift shop selling Star Trek television memorabilia and various exhibits about the characters and the television sci-fi series - Star Trek.

Inside the Trek Station are opportunities to dress in Star Trek customers, get pictures with Star Trek figures and - for the Trekkie at heart - there is an opportunity to operate the bridge of a Starship.

Outside on the grounds of the Space Station or should we say in the sky is a replica of a Star Trek Starship.

The Star Trek Starship measures 31 feet long and weighs 5 tons. The ship is a replica similar to the Star Trek Enterprise. The plaque marking the Starship is written in English as well as Klingon and Vulcan languages.

There is a plaque located at the entrance of the Star Trek Space Station erected in honor of Gene Roddenberry - the creator of the Star Trek television series.

As they say in Star Trek Land... " Live Long and Prosper."
