Bluey Lake Recreation Site Merritt BC

Bluey Lake is the perfect location for all your outdoor summer activities when exploring the Nicola Valley and in the backcountry of Merritt BC Canada. Although access to this clear blue lake is a bit more adventurist, it is highly recommended to travel to the Bluey Lake in high clearance vehicles, and truck campers. The narrow rough access road meanders down to the shoreline camping sites. Would not recommend low clearnace large trailers or motor homes to camp at site. Bluey Lakes gravel access road is more of a 4x4 road, as it can become very rough with a few steep sections the further you go in. Moreover, once you reach Bluey Lake and see the it's clear blue waters you just know the road in was worth it. It's not were the road goes, it's were it leads you.

Bluey Lake Camping & Water Activities

Bluey Lake is situated amongst a Douglas Fir forest that provides shaded areas with scenic beauty. Generally it is recommended for camping party's up to 6 or 7 per site. Therefore camping is only permitted on the developed pads. Water activities on Bluey Lakes crystal clear waters during hot summer days. Kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, and swimming for all ages. Make Bluey Lake your next destination site for all outdoor summer activities.
