NOTE TO SELF: add all the usual suspects in, add photos, check on story info, research back at library, get consent to public staff photos or names, share where I would quote them and how it sounds.

STORY TIME AT THE NICOLA VALLEY LIBRARY
WHAT CAN YOU DO AT THE LIBRARY
The Local Library in Merritt – Okay, in case you didn’t know…the Merritt Library is home to a train-set, complete with conductor and track! The building itself is the original train station from 1850 (DOUBLE CHECK DATE), and the staff are more than happy to don the Conductors cap to bump the train over valleys, hills, and bridges. 11 years young, it’s a must see to add to your books. (I can hear you groaning from here. Mission accomplished.)
STORY TIME AT THE NICOLA VALLEY LIBRARY
“I love to read, every week I host a story time for the kids, and share by word of mouth to any member who steps foot in here to come to it.” says one of the staff (FIND OUT NAME) The contentedness of the staff and the easy banter is comforting. From filling entry restocking books to supporting new clients with books to find, it’s worth checking out the local library in Merritt.
DO MORE THAN READ BOOKS
A true testament to being a hub, not just to read books at the Nicola Valley Library, it supports community events by posting the cool things to do. The bulletin board is located to the right immediately as you enter the first set of doors. So even if you only have a few minutes to spare, pop by to get up to speed on local events that you may have missed in on social media or the newspaper!
